Google Pixel 4 and What We Want To See

Nov 20
The Google Pixel 4 is a new Android device created by Google with improved features. The device is meant to obliterate competition on the mobile market. The device has a lot of features which have been long anticipated. The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL which is its earlier version had some mixed ratings and performed lesser than expected on the worldwide market. Exactly a year after the release of Google Pixel 3, the Google Pixel 4 is a response to these mixed reviews and ratings as it boasts more improved features which are state-of-the-art when mobile technology is concerned.

The Google Pixel series comes with a large OLED display; has sharp rear front and rear camera and is equipped with the latest in network connectivity. The Google Pixels are also fitted with one of the largest storage capacities you can find on any Android device with 64 or 128 GB options. The Android device is also equipped with a good reserve memory as it comes with a 6GB random access memory (RAM) to enable the fastest user experience you can expect from any device.

However, there are certain issues that have been identified on the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL which need to be fixed on the Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL, and we’ve got them identified for you;

Glitch fixes:

The Google Pixel 3 is a good Android device in its own right, but there are some issues it has when it comes to maximum user satisfaction. The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL had earlier issues with some of its functions which had to be fixed with multiple software updates. The Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL are expected to provide a better response to this problem before the user purchases any of the products.

Vanishing messages should cease:

There were multiple reports at the onset of the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL releases which complained about messages going “Shazam” from users’ inboxes. Google promised a fix for the problem in later software updates but they should have done better. This problem should be fixed on the latest Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

Slow camera:

The camera is touted to be “the best” by many critics and reviewers that is if you can get to open the app anyway. Users have constantly complained about the camera being slow to boot, and slow to taking pictures. This issue should be fixed in the new release Pixel 4 series, as users expect nothing but the best from Google Android.

Problems with wireless charging:

The Google Pixel series is powered with the wireless charging function as a revolutionary addition to mobile devices. However, users of the series have reservations as to whether the charging is at full functionality. This makes questions to continuously abound on the use of the wireless charging function. We expect this to be fixed in the new Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

Software Update problems:

It is ironic for a problem solver to become a problem creator. The software updates by Google to fix some issues with its Pixel 3 series created some problems while erasing others. This is seen from the updates mostly released during the first quarter of the year which was aimed at fixes to the software of the Pixel but damaged the proper functioning of the autofocus feature of the Google Android device.

Better call reception quality:

The HD feature for calling which is now available for most high-end Android devices has some issues on the Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL. This should be totally fixed on the Google Pixel 4 and future releases to guarantee users value for their money.

Follow better ordering/shipping instructions:

Some special models of the Google Pixel do exist. These special versions of the Pixel were requested by consumers from Google, but there were incidents of multiple mix-up in sending the right ordered product to consumers.

Issues with charging should be resolved:

The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have multiple issues when it comes to charging. The wireless charging feature is reported to not be working properly, but when users decide to utilize the direct charging function, problems also arise. The Google Pixel 3 is reported to seriously overheat during charging and causes problems for the user and raises fears of explosion. This problem should be fixed in the Google Pixel 4 series.

Battery capacity should be increased:

The battery of the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL should be increased in the future releases of the Pixel series as the phone is currently a “big-for-nothing” when the battery capacity is considered. The Pixel 3 series has a 2800mAh battery which cannot last more than 12-15 hours if used continuously. This means that you’ve got to have your charger in your bag all the time, especially if you plan on heading for a long trip. The battery capacity should be worked on for the best user experience on the Pixel 4 and 4 XL.

The processor should be upgraded:

The earlier released series’ of the Pixel have all come with updates on their respective processors. This should also be the case with the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. The current highest processor for the Google Android device is the Snapdragon 845. This is a good processor with a 2.5GHz speed, but you know we all like everything good to continuously increase in quality.

Conclusion:

The Google Pixel series is designed with the latest software from Google Android to equip the user with the best mobile experience. This brand of products, just like any other electronic device is bound to experience issues over time. The aim of making minor/major alterations to the hardware or software is to provide solutions to the problems of the previous model or increase on the performance capabilities. The Google Pixel series is sure to develop many brands in the future, and we hope they fix up the issues we have listed out here in their latest releases.
